The government of Saudi Arabia has paid  21.7 million birr in compensation to parents of Mohammed Abdul Aziz Yahya.

Mohammed, now 16, was admitted to a hospital in Jeddah for a minor breathing problem in 2006 but paralyzed and remained in a coma until now because of a botched medical operation.

During his visit to Saudi Arabia, the Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed raised Mohammed’s case to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salamn. Read more
